Phoenix
Thank you for supporting Phoenix. Your payment went through. Go back to the website (or the Phoenix app) where you use Phoenix, open Settings, then Account, and press I have paid, check again. Use the same email address you signed in with. If it is not active after a few minutes, email enquiries@neurohubcommunity.org.
Phoenix supporter plan: details and terms
Phoenix is free to use. The supporter plan is for people who want Phoenix to remember them: it costs £1.99 a month, and it also helps pay for the AI that keeps Phoenix free for everyone else.
What you get
- Phoenix remembers the details you tell it and the notes it makes about you (you can see, change and delete every one).
- Your chats, daily check-ins, documents and settings are saved to your account and follow you between devices.
- It works wherever Phoenix appears: the Phoenix app and any website with the Phoenix widget. Sign in with your email once on each site (browsers keep each site separate), and your saved things are there.
What stays free
- Using Phoenix: chat, the built-in helper, the Toolkit, meditations, check-ins and documents on your own device, and the safety tools. None of this needs an account.
- Making an account and signing in is free, and gives you voice chat and a bigger daily allowance of AI replies. Saving and remembering needs the plan.
- Accounts made before the plan began keep saving and remembering for free.
How it works
- Starting. Sign in (an emailed code, no password), then choose Become a supporter in Settings, Account. You pay on Stripe’s own secure page. NeuroHub never sees or stores your card details. Please use the same email address you signed in with.
- Price and renewal. £1.99 each month, renewing automatically until you cancel. We will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email before any price change, and you can cancel before it applies.
- Cancelling. Cancel any time from Change or cancel my plan in Settings, Account (or email enquiries@neurohubcommunity.org). You keep the plan until the end of the month you have paid for.
- Refunds. If you change your mind, ask within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. Payments after that are not refunded, but you can cancel at any time.
- If a payment fails. Stripe retries the card for a while and the plan carries on. If it cannot be taken, the plan ends.
When the plan ends
- For 30 days everything you saved stays on your account, read-only. You can download it, delete it, or restart the plan and carry on exactly where you left off.
- After 30 days your saved data is permanently deleted from our servers. The copy on your own devices stays there until you delete it.
- You cannot delete your account while the plan is live, so that you are never charged for nothing. Cancel first.
Your information
The plan adds Stripe as a provider that handles your payment and email address. Stripe tells Phoenix only that your account’s subscription is active or has ended, using an anonymous account fingerprint, never your card. Phoenix still does not store your email address. Read the privacy page and AI policy for how everything else is handled. Your rights to access, correct, export and delete your data are unchanged.
Other things to know
- This is a subscription for a service, not a charitable donation. If you would like to give without the plan, there are donation options in the app.
- Phoenix is an AI companion, not a therapist, doctor or crisis service. Supporting the plan does not change that, and nobody monitors your conversations.
- We may change or stop the plan with 30 days’ notice. If we stop it, we will refund the unused part of your current month.
- Your rights under UK consumer law are not affected by these terms.
