Phoenix

Delete your Phoenix account and data

You do not need an account to use Phoenix, and most people never make one. Your chats, check-ins, tasks and settings stay on your own device. This page explains how to delete the things Phoenix keeps, whether you use the website, the installed app or the Android app from Google Play. It works the same everywhere.

Delete your account (the optional sign-in) and everything synced with it

  1. Open Phoenix and go to Settings, then Account and memories.
  2. Sign in with your email if you are not signed in (Phoenix emails you a one-time code).
  3. Press Delete my account and confirm.

This permanently deletes the account and everything stored with it on NeuroHub’s servers: synced notes, chats, check-ins and memories. It cannot be undone. Phoenix never stores your email address in readable form (only a scrambled version used to recognise you), so there is no email list to remove you from.

Delete what is on your device

In Settings, under Your data, press Delete everything. This clears your chats, check-ins, tasks, plan and settings from this device. Uninstalling the Android app or clearing the browser’s site data does the same.

Shared wellbeing scores

If you switched on Help NeuroHub understand wellbeing, you can switch it off and delete your shared scores in Settings. They are anonymous and are deleted after two years in any case.

Cannot get into the app?

Email enquiries@neurohubcommunity.org from the address you signed in with and ask us to delete your account. We will confirm by reply and delete it within 30 days, usually much sooner.
